24-Hour Emergency Department
At Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department, you can expect the best emergency technology and care. We know this because nearly 45,000 people count on our quality each year.
Medical emergencies develop unexpectedly. Not only are they both confusing and stressful, but they demand immediate attention. That's why we are here when you need us to care for life's big and little emergencies... sprained ankles, heart attacks, sudden fevers, and serious traumas. In fact, a trained team of experienced emergency medicine physicians and registered nurses staff our Emergency Department 24 hours a day, every day of the year, to evaluate and prioritize all medical and surgical conditions so that the most serious situations are treated first.
Our Emergency Department is fully equipped with the latest life-saving equipment for any medical condition, including heart attacks, strokes and trauma. Furthermore, Memorial Hospital's Emergency physicians have trained at nationally recognized trauma centers and bring years of skill to your care. All of our nurses are ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified and many are CEN (Certified Emergency Nurses) and TNCC (Trauma Nurses).
Both the Emergency Room and the Urgent Care Center are fully supported by Memorial Hospital's comprehensive array of medical resources. In addition to the physician specialists who are on-call and available, Laboratory, X-ray, advanced diagnostic imaging, mental health... and more... are ready to help.
Together, our physicians and staff create a caring and capable team.
